| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ ، قال : ” سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا عَنِ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ ، فَقَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ زُحِمْتُ ، أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ غُلِبْتُ ، قَالَ : اجْعَلْ أَرَأَيْتَ بِالْيَمَنِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَلِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حماد بن زید نے بیان کیا، ان سے زبیر بن عربی نے بیان کیا کہ` ایک شخص نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے حجر اسود کے بوسہ دینے کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے بتلایا کہ ”میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اس کو بوسہ دیتے دیکھا ہے۔“ اس پر اس شخص نے کہا اگر ہجوم ہو جائے اور میں عاجز ہو جاؤں تو کیا کروں؟ ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ ”اس اگر وگر کو یمن میں جا کر رکھو میں نے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ اس کو بوسہ دیتے تھے۔“ |

| Narrated Az-Zubair bin ‘Arabi: A man asked Ibn `Umar about the touching of the Black Stone. Ibn `Umar said, “I saw Allah’s Apostle touching and kissing it.” The questioner said, “But if there were a throng (much rush) round the Ka`ba and the people overpowered me, (what would I do?)” He replied angrily, “Stay in Yemen (as that man was from Yemen). I saw Allah’s Apostle touching and kissing it.” |
