| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو ضَمْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قال : ” اسْتَأْذَنَ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَبِيتَ بمكة لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ سِقَايَتِهِ ، فَأَذِنَ لَهُ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد بن ابی الاسود نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے ابوضمرہ نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے عبیداللہ عمری نے بیان کیا، ان سے نافع نے، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ` عباس بن عبدالمطلب رضی اللہ عنہ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اپنے پانی (زمزم کا حاجیوں کو) پلانے کے لیے منیٰ کے دنوں میں مکہ ٹھہرنے کی اجازت چاہی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کو اجازت دے دی۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Umar: Al `Abbas bin `Abdul-Muttalib asked the permission of Allah’s Apostle to let him stay in Mecca during the nights of Mina in order to provide the pilgrims with water to drink, so the Prophet permitted him. |
