| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَابِسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، قِيلَ لَهُ : ” أَشَهِدْتَ الْعِيدَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : نَعَمْ ، وَلَوْلَا مَكَانِي مِنَ الصِّغَرِ مَا شَهِدْتُهُ حَتَّى أَتَى الْعَلَمَ الَّذِي عِنْدَ دَارِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ ، فَصَلَّى ، ثُمَّ خَطَبَ ، ثُمَّ أَتَى النِّسَاءَ وَمَعَهُ بِلَالٌ فَوَعَظَهُنَّ وَذَكَّرَهُنَّ وَأَمَرَهُنَّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، فَرَأَيْتُهُنَّ يَهْوِينَ بِأَيْدِيهِنَّ يَقْذِفْنَهُ فِي ثَوْبِ بِلَالٍ ، ثُمَّ انْطَلَقَ هُوَ وَبِلَالٌ إِلَى بَيْتِهِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے سفیان ثوری سے بیان کیا، کہا کہ مجھ سے عبدالرحمٰن بن عابس نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ میں نے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، ان سے دریافت کیا گیا تھا کہ` کیا آپ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ عیدگاہ گئے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہاں اور اگر باوجود کم عمری کے میری قدر و منزلت آپ کے یہاں نہ ہوتی تو میں جا نہیں سکتا تھا۔ آپ اس نشان پر آئے جو کثیر بن صلت کے گھر کے قریب ہے۔ آپ نے وہاں نماز پڑھائی پھر خطبہ دیا۔ اس کے بعد عورتوں کی طرف آئے۔ آپ کے ساتھ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے۔ آپ نے انہیں وعظ اور نصیحت کی اور صدقہ کے لیے کہا۔ چنانچہ میں نے دیکھا کہ عورتیں اپنے ہاتھوں سے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے کپڑے میں ڈالے جا رہی تھیں۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ گھر واپس ہوئے۔ |

| Narrated `Abdur Rahman bin `Abis: Ibn `Abbas was asked whether he had joined the Prophet in the `Id prayer. He said, “Yes. And I could not have joined him had I not been young. (The Prophet came out) till he reached the mark which was near the house of Kathir bin As-Salt, offered the prayer, delivered the Khutba and then went towards the women. Bilal was accompanying him. He preached to them and advised them and ordered them to give alms. I saw the women putting their ornaments with their outstretched hands into Bilal’s garment. Then the Prophet along with Bilal returned home. |
