| حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : عَمْرٌو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا ، قَالَ : ” لَيْسَ التَّحْصِيبُ بِشَيْءٍ ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ مَنْزِلٌ نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے بیان کیا، ان سے عمرو بن عطاء بن ابی رباح نے بیان کیا اور ان سے ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ` محصب میں اترنا حج کی کوئی عبادت نہیں ہے، یہ تو صرف رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے قیام کی جگہ تھی۔ |

| Narrated Ibn `Abbas: Staying at Al-Mahassab is not one of the ceremonies (of Hajj), but Al-Mahassab is a place where Allah’s Apostle camped (during his Hajjat-al-Wida). |
