| حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ ، عَنْ جُعَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ هِيَ بِنْتُ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَتْ : سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ :”سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : ” لَا يَكِيدُ أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا انْمَاعَ ، كَمَا يَنْمَاعُ الْمِلْحُ فِي الْمَاءِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے حسین بن حرث نے بیان کیا، کہا ہمیں فضل بن موسیٰ نے خبر دی، انہیں جعید بن عبدالرحمٰن نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ میں نے سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا تھا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ اہل مدینہ کے ساتھ جو شخص بھی فریب کرے گا وہ اس طرح گھل جائے گا جیسے نمک میں پانی گھل جایا کرتا ہے۔ |

| Narrated Sa`d: I heard the Prophet saying, “None plots against the people of Medina but that he will be dissolved (destroyed) like the salt is dissolved in water.” |
