Hadith in Arabic
وَقَالَ أَبُو مُوسَى : دَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَدَحٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ ، فَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ وَوَجْهَهُ فِيهِ ، وَمَجَّ فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُمَا : اشْرَبَا مِنْهُ وَأَفْرِغَا عَلَى وُجُوهِكُمَا وَنُحُورِكُمَا
Urdu Translation
´(اور ایک دوسری حدیث میں) ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ` نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک پیالہ منگوایا۔ جس میں پانی تھا۔ اس سے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ دھوئے اور اسی پیالہ میں منہ دھویا اور اس میں کلی فرمائی، پھر فرمایا، تو تم لوگ اس کو پی لو اور اپنے چہروں اور سینوں پر ڈال لو۔
English Translation
Abu Musa said: The Prophet asked for a tumbler containing water and washed both his hands and face in it and then threw a mouthful of water in the tumbler and said to both of us (Abu Musa and Bilal), “Drink from the tumbler and pour some of its water on your faces and chests.”
