Hadith in Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ ، قَالَتْ : جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَتْ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِحْدَانَا تَحِيضُ فِي الثَّوْبِ ، كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ ؟ قَالَ : ” تَحُتُّهُ ، ثُمَّ تَقْرُصُهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَتَنْضَحُهُ وَتُصَلِّي فِيهِ
Urdu Translation
´ہم سے محمد ابن المثنی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے یحییٰ نے ہشام کے واسطے سے بیان کیا، ان سے فاطمہ نے اسماء کے واسطے سے، وہ کہتی ہیں کہ` ایک عورت نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر عرض کی کہ یا رسول اللہ! فرمائیے ہم میں سے کسی عورت کو کپڑے میں حیض آ جائے (تو) وہ کیا کرے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا (کہ پہلے) اسے کھرچے، پھر پانی سے رگڑے اور پانی سے دھو ڈالے اور اسی کپڑے میں نماز پڑھ لے۔
English Translation
Narrated Asma’: A woman came to the Prophet and said, “If anyone of us gets menses in her clothes then what should she do?” He replied, “She should (take hold of the soiled place), rub it and put it in the water and rub it in order to remove the traces of blood and then pour water over it. Then she can pray in it.”
