| حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، قَالَ : تَذَاكَرْنَا عِنْدَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الرَّهْنَ فِي السَّلَمِ ، فَقَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، ” أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اشْتَرَى طَعَامًا مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ إِلَى أَجَلٍ ، وَرَهَنَهُ دِرْعًا مِنْ حَدِيدٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے معلی بن اسد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عبدالواحد نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ابراہیم کی خدمت میں ہم نے بیع سلم میں رہن کا ذکر کیا، تو انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ مجھ سے اسود نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا` کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک یہودی سے غلہ ایک خاص مدت (کے قرض پر) خریدا، اور اپنی لوہے کی زرہ اس کے پاس رہن رکھ دی۔ |

| Narrated Al-A`mash: When we were with Ibrahim, we talked about mortgaging in deals of Salam. Ibrahim narrated from Aswad that `Aisha had said, “The Prophet bought some foodstuff on credit from a Jew and mortgaged an iron armor to him.” |
