| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّ سَائِلًا سَأَل رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” أَوَلِكُلِّكُمْ ثَوْبَانِ ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن یوسف نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہمیں امام مالک نے ابن شہاب کے حوالہ سے خبر دی، وہ سعید بن مسیب سے نقل کرتے ہیں، وہ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ` ایک پوچھنے والے نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھنے کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا (کچھ برا نہیں) بھلا کیا تم سب میں ہر شخص کے پاس دو کپڑے ہیں؟ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: A person asked Allah’s Apostle about the offering of the prayer in a single garment. Allah’s Apostle replied, “Has every one of you got two garments?” |
