| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَشْعَثُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ: “سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الِالْتِفَاتِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ فَقَالَ:هُوَ اخْتِلَاسٌ يَخْتَلِسُهُ الشَّيْطَانُ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَبْدِ”. |

| ´ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے ابوالاحوص سلام بن سلیم نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے اشعث بن سلیم نے بیان کیا اپنے والد کے واسطے سے، انہوں نے مسروق بن اجدع سے، انہوں نے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے آپ نے بتلایا کہ` میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے نماز میں ادھر ادھر دیکھنے کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ تو ڈاکہ ہے جو شیطان بندے کی نماز پر ڈالتا ہے۔ |

| Narrated `Aisha: I asked Allah’s Apostle about looking hither and thither in prayer. He replied, “It is a way of stealing by which Satan takes away (a portion) from the prayer of a person.” |
