| حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورُ ، عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : ” كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي رُكُوعِهِ وَسُجُودِهِ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَبِحَمْدِكَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي يَتَأَوَّلُ الْقُرْآنَ ” . |

| ´ہم سے مسدد بن مسرہد نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے یحییٰ بن سعید قطان نے، سفیان ثوری سے، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے منصور بن معتمر نے مسلم بن صبیح سے بیان کیا، انہوں نے مسروق سے، ان سے عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سجدہ اور رکوع میں اکثر یہ پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ «سبحانك اللهم ربنا وبحمدك، اللهم اغفر لي» (اس دعا کو پڑھ کر) آپ قرآن کے حکم پر عمل کرتے تھے۔ |

| Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet used to say frequently in his bowing and prostrations “Subhanaka l-lahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahumma ghfir li” (Exalted [from unbecoming attributes] Are you O Allah our Lord, and by Your praise [do I exalt you]. O Allah! Forgive me). In this way [??] he was acting on what was explained to him in the Holy Qur’an. |
