| حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي صَفْوَانُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : ” الْغُسْلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ ” . |

| ´ہم سے علی بن عبداللہ مدینی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم سے سفیان نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھ سے صفوان بن سلیم نے عطاء سے بیان کیا، ان سے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا` ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جمعہ کے دن ہر بالغ کے لیے غسل ضروری ہے۔ |

| Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, “Ghusl (taking a bath) on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim reaching the age of puberty.” |
