| حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، أَنَّ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مَبْسُورًا ، وَقَالَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ مَرَّةً ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الرَّجُلِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ ، فَقَالَ : ” مَنْ صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَائِمِ ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى نَائِمًا فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَاعِدِ ” ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ : نَائِمًا عِنْدِي مُضْطَجِعًا هَا هُنَا . |

| ´ہم سے ابومعمر نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے عبدالوارث نے بیان کیا، کہا کہ ہم سے حسین معلم نے بیان کیا اور ان سے عبداللہ بن بریدہ نے کہ عمران بن حصین نے جنہیں بواسیر کا مرض تھا۔ اور کبھی ابومعمر نے یوں کہا کہ عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ` میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنا افضل ہے لیکن اگر کوئی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو کھڑے ہو کر پڑھنے والے سے اسے آدھا ثواب ملے گا اور لیٹ کر پڑھنے والے کو بیٹھ کر پڑھنے والے سے آدھا ثواب ملے گا۔ ابوعبداللہ (امام بخاری رحمہ اللہ) فرماتے ہیں کہ حدیث کے الفاظ میں «نائم» «مضطجع» کے معنی میں ہے یعنی لیٹ کر نماز پڑھنے والا۔ |

| Narrated `Abdullah bin Buraida: `Imran bin Husain had piles. Once Abu Ma mar narrated from `Imran bin Husain had said, “I asked the Prophet (p.b.u.h) about the prayer of a person while sitting. He said, ‘It is better for one to pray standing; and whoever prays sitting gets half the reward of that who prays while standing; and whoever prays while Lying gets half the reward of that who prays while sitting.’ “ |
