| وَقَالَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ أَبُو تَوْبَةَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا أَوْ لِيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ ، فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيُمْسِكْ أَرْضَهُ ” . |

| ´اور ربیع بن نافع ابوتوبہ نے کہا کہ ہم سے معاویہ بن سلام نے بیان کیا، ان سے یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر نے، ان سے ابوسلمہ نے اور ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ` نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، جس کے پاس زمین ہو تو وہ خود بوئے ورنہ اپنے کسی (مسلمان) بھائی کو بخش دے، اور اگر یہ نہیں کر سکتا تو اسے یوں ہی خالی چھوڑ دے۔ |

| Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “Whoever has land should cultivate it himself or give it to his (Muslim) brother gratis; otherwise he should keep it uncultivated.” |
