| حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا , قَالَتْ : إِنَّمَا قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ” إِنَّهُمْ لَيَعْلَمُونَ الْآنَ أَنَّ مَا كُنْتُ أَقُولُ حَقٌّ ، وَقَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : إِنَّكَ لا تُسْمِعُ الْمَوْتَى سورة النمل آية 80 ” . |

| ´ہم سے عبداللہ بن محمد نے بیان کیا ‘ کہا ہم سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے ‘ ان سے ہشام بن عروہ نے ‘ ان سے ان کے والد نے اور ان سے عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ` رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بدر کے کافروں کو یہ فرمایا تھا کہ میں جو ان سے کہا کرتا تھا اب ان کو معلوم ہوا ہو گا کہ وہ سچ ہے۔ اور اللہ نے سورۃ الروم میں فرمایا «إنك لا تسمع الموتى» اے پیغمبر! تو مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتا۔ |

| Narrated `Aisha: The Prophet said, “They now realize that what I used to tell them was the truth. “And Allah said, ‘Verily! You cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them, and similarly the disbelievers) nor can you make the deaf hear. (27.80). |
